These pictures show South Frontage Road in New Haven as it appeared prior to the reconstruction of the Oak Street Connector. The split that is shown no longer exists. South Frontage Road now transitions into the Oak Street Connector several blocks east of here at South Orange Street.

These pictures show the Oak Street Connector as it appeared before it was constructed. It has since been shortened to begin at South Orange Street, and the interchange with the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) and I-91 has been rebuilt, providing two lanes to each highway in the northbound direction.

These photographs show South Frontage Road in New Haven prior to the installation of the large overhead signs that mark the beginning of the Oak Street Connector. One of the two signs on the single overhead sign assembly that did exist at the exit has been replaced.

This photograph shows the eastern terminus of the Oak Street Connector as it appeared in 2006. At the time, there was an exit for Brewery Street. This exit has been permanently closed.
