SR 508 begins at exit 39 of the Yankee Expressway (I-84). The exit from the westbound side has two lanes. It narrows down to one lane as a lane from the eastbound side merges in from the left.

The expressway runs west for a short distance before ending at a traffic light at Farmington Avenue (CT 4). Turn right to go east or continue straight ahead to go west.
