MD 464 is an east/west route running about half a mile north of the Potomac River between Brunswick and Point of Rocks. Burkittsville Road (MD 17) turns into Souder Road upon crossing Petersville Road (MD 17/MD 79). After about half a mile, Souder Road ends, and MD 464 turns onto Point of Rocks Road, which it follows through hilly terrain to eventually reach a traffic circle at Catoctin Mountain Highway (US 15). It ends just beyond the circle at Ballenger Creek Pike and Lockhouse Drive.
