I-76 enters New Jersey via the Walt Whitman Bridge, a suspension bridge over the Delaware River from Philadelphia to Camden. At the end of the bridge, there is an interchange with I-676, which ends at this point. I-76 continues for one exit to I-295, where it becomes the North-South Freeway (NJ 42), which runs south toward Atlantic City.
