Fletcher Avenue, Lemoine Avenue, Sylvan Avenue, Palisades Boulevard

Northbound Views

Fletcher Avenue begins at the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95/US 1/US 9) in Fort Lee. It runs north as a four-lane road. There are traffic lights at Linwood Plaza and Linwood Avenue (CR 29).

The roadway splits, and Fletcher Avenue ends. Bear right for the Palisades Parkway (NJ 445) or bear left to stay on US 9W and merge into Lemoine Avenue, which is designated NJ 67 south of here. US 9W continues north along Lemoine Avenue.

US 9W runs north through Fort Lee and Englewood Cliffs as a four-lane undivided road, changing names from Lemoine Avenue to Sylvan Avenue. There are traffic lights at Myrtle Avenue, Bayview Avenue, Middlesex Avenue, Charlotte Place, John Street, and Clendinen Place.

Sylvan Avenue intersects Palisade Avenue (CR 505) at a traffic light. Turn left to go north or turn right to go south.

Sylvan Avenue continues north through Englewood Cliffs. There are traffic lights at Hollywood Avenue and Sage Road.

Welcome to Tenafly! Sylvan Avenue intersects East Clinton Avenue (CR 70) at a traffic light and then narrows down to two lanes.

Palisades Boulevard runs north through Alpine as a two-lane undivided road.

There is an interchange with the Palisades Parkway (NJ 445). Palisades Boulevard widens to four lanes for a short distance in the area of the interchange.
