NJ 3 is an east/west expressway in northern New Jersey. It begins at US 46 in Clifton and runs southeast to US 1/US 9 in North Bergen. Just before its eastern terminus, there is an interchange with NJ 495, providing access to the Lincoln Tunnel. NJ 3 has express and local lanes in the vicinity of Secaucus.

The portion of NJ 3 around Secaucus is sometimes known as the Secaucus Bypass, although this name is not widely used and is not posted on any signs.
