NJ 59 is a one-block-long section of Lincoln Avenue in Cranford. It extends from South Avenue (Union CR 610) and North Avenue (NJ 28), passing under the New Jersey Transit railroad tracks. Less than a quarter of a mile long, it has the distinction of being the shortest state route in New Jersey. It is signed in that there is a single NJ 59 route shield at the traffic light on North Avenue (NJ 28).
