Bay Street runs north as a four-lane undivided road. There are traffic lights with oversized street name signs at Victory Boulevard and Slosson Terrace.

Near the northern terminus, Bay Street has a divider. It ends at the terminal of the Staten Island Ferry in St. George. Turn right for the ferry terminal. Bear left for Richmond Terrace.
