Chambers Street runs east as a two-lane undivided road. There are oversized street name signs at Church Street and Broadway.

There are a number of government buildings in the area. The large building straight ahead contains the office of the Manhattan borough president.

Chambers Street ends here. All motorists must turn right onto Centre Street, from which there is access to the Brooklyn Bridge.
