Little Neck Parkway begins at Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) at the Queens-Nassau county line and runs north as a four-lane divided road. There is a traffic light with an oversized street name sign at 86 Avenue.

Little Neck Parkway has service roads in the area where it crosses Hillside Avenue (NY 25B). Turn right from the service road to go east. Turn left from the main road to go west.

North of the parkway, the median ends and Little Neck Parkway narrows down to two lanes. There are traffic lights with oversized street name signs at 61 Avenue and 59 Avenue.

There is a traffic light at Northern Boulevard (NY 25A). Turn right to go east or left to go west. Oversized street name signage ends here. Little Neck Parkway continues north as a local street.
