Richmond Avenue runs north as a four-lane undivided road. There are traffic lights with oversized street name signs at Katan Avenue and Genesee Avenue.

North of the parkway, Richmond Avenue widens to six lane and becomes a divided road. There are traffic lights with oversized street name signs at Forest Hill Road, Independence Avenue, Platinum Avenue, Nome Avenue, Signs Road, and Eton Place.
