The Williamsburg Bridge is a suspension bridge over the East River, connecting Brooklyn and Manhattan. It is open to both cars and trucks, and it also has tracks for subway trains and a pedestrian/bicycle path. On the Manhattan side, the bridge roadway becomes Delancey Street. On the Brooklyn side, it connects to the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278) and Broadway.
