Just south of the Westchester-Putnam county line, NY 22 splits off from US 202 and runs south as a two-lane undivided road. The Croton Falls railroad station is to the right along this stretch.

The road splits. Bear left for the Central Westchester Parkway (CR 150), a short highway leading to the Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287). Bear right to stay on NY 22. The signage here incorrectly identifies this road as US 22, when it is really NY 22. US 22 does not enter New York State.
