NY 23A is an east/west route in the Catskills. It begins at NY 23 in Prattsville and runs east along the north side of Schoharie Creek. It ends at US 9W in Catskill near the Hudson River. The entire length is a two-lane undivided road. The section in the vicinity of Tannersville is known as Main Street. Elsewhere, it has no name and is known solely by its number.
