The section of the Nassau Expressway in Nassau begins at Rockaway Turnpike (CR 257) and runs south as a four-lane undivided road. There is a traffic light at Bay Boulevard (CR 2A), which becomes Peninsula Boulevard (CR 2) one block east of here.

The last section of the Nassau Expressway is the Atlantic Beach Bridge. There is a tollbooth immediately before the bridge. It is the only tollbooth in Nassau County.

Welcome to Atlantic Beach! The Nassau Expressway ends here at a traffic circle. Continue around the circle for Park Street (CR 22). Turn right for Atlantic Boulevard. The signage here could use some improvement.
