Hillside Avenue passes over the Northern Parkway, but there is no entrance or exit. It narrows down to two lanes and the divider ends.

The two-lane section in East Williston is called East Williston Avenue. It is locally maintained by the Nassau County Department of Public Works (NCDPW) and is designated NY 25B/CR 85.

There is a traffic light at Roslyn Road (CR 7A). Turn right to go north or left to go south.

East Williston Avenue continues east for a short distance further. There is a railroad crossing at the Oyster Bay Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. CR 85 ends at the railroad crossing, and East Williston Avenue becomes Hillside Avenue again.
