NY 41 is a north/south route through the middle of New York State. It begins at the Quickway (NY 17/Future I-86) in Deposit, just north of Old Route 17 (Broome CR 17). It runs north to Afton, where it has an interchange with I-88 and crosses the Susquehanna River. It continues north to Coventryville, where it joins NY 206. The two routes are multiplexed for a few miles to the west to NY 12 in Greene. NY 41 follows NY 12 north for a quarter of a mile and then splits off again and runs northwest to Cortland, where it crosses and has an interchange with I-81. NY 41 is multiplexed with US 11 through Cortland and then splits off to the northwest again. It runs along the east side of Skaneateles Lake to end at US 20 in Skaneateles.
