Welcome to Sullivan County! Old Route 17 changes designation from CR 17 to CR 179A at the county line.

CR 179A ends at a stop sign and a flasher at NY 206, which is multiplexed with a different county route in each direction from here. To go east, turn right to stay on Old Route 17, which is designated CR 179 beyond this point. To go west, turn left onto Rockland Road (CR 91). Route signage is completely lacking at this intersection.
