High Road begins at the Pond Eddy Bridge, a one-lane bridge with a wooden deck crossing the Delaware River between New York and Pennsylvania. The area on the Pennsylvania side does not connect with any other roads in Pennsylvania; it can only be accessed through New York via the bridge. On the New York side of the bridge, High Road intersects NY 97 and then continues north for a couple of miles to Glen Spey, where it ends at Proctor Road (CR 32) and Forestburgh Road (CR 42).
