CR 7 is a long north/south route running diagonally through Ulster County. Burlingham Road begins in Sullivan County as CR 61 and changes designation to become CR 7 at the county line. It runs northeast to Pine Bush, where it follows NY 52 for about half a mile to the east before splitting off onto New Prospect Road, which becomes Brunswyck Road. It crosses US 44/NY 55 and then ends at Albany Post Road, which is designated CR 9 to the south. CR 7 follows Albany Post Road, which changes names to become Libertyville Road and ends at NY 299 in New Paltz. CR 7 is multiplexed with NY 299 for about half a mile to the east and then turns north again onto Springtown Road. In Rosendale, Springtown Road becomes Elting Road. When Elting Road ends, CR 7 follows Keator Avenue and James Street through Rosendale to NY 213. It is multiplexed with NY 213 under the Rosendale Trestle and then turns north again onto Binnewater Road. It follows Binnewater Road to Lucas Turnpike (CR 1) in Kingston, where it ends.
