Greenbelt Road begins at Baltimore Avenue (US 1) in College Park and runs east as a two-lane road.

MD 430 ends here at MD 193, which is known as University Boulevard to the west and Greenbelt Road to the east. All vehicles must continue straight ahead to merge in going east.
