North Wildwood Boulevard begins at US 9 in Middle Township and runs east as a two-lane undivided road. It passes under the Garden State Parkway (NJ 444) and intersects Massachusetts Avenue at a traffic light. There is a jughandle providing access to Massachusetts Avenue, from which there is an entrance to the parkway north.

North Wildwood Boulevard widens to become a four-lane divided highway. The speed limit goes up to 50 MPH. There is a small river over Mill Trail Creek.
