Beach Channel Drive
Eastbound Views
Beach Channel Drive begins at the Marine Parkway Bridge and runs east as a four-lane divided highway. Signs welcome motorists to the Rockaways and the Gateway National Recreation Area.

There is a grade-separated split. Bear right for Rockaway Beach Boulevard and Riis Park. Bear left to stay on Beach Channel Drive. Signage here could use some improvement.

There is a turnaround on the left. There is absolutely no signage for the turnaround.

The median ends. There is an exit on the right for Cronston Avenue and Beach 145 Street.

Beach Channel Drive becomes a divided road again. There is a traffic light with an oversized street name sign at Beach 101 Street.

Beach Channel Drive passes under the Cross Bay Bridge, which is the southernmost section of Cross Bay Boulevard. Bear right for the bridge. Bear left to continue along Beach Channel Drive toward Far Rockaway.

East of the bridge, the median ends. There is a traffic light with an oversized street name sign at Beach 84 Street.
