As NY 25 leaves Jericho Turnpike and turns onto Braddock Avenue at the Queens-Nassau county line, Jericho Turnpike changes names to become Jamaica Avenue. There is an interchange with the Cross Island Parkway.

As Jamaica Avenue unambiguously enters Queens, the reference route ends, and the roadway comes under the jurisdiction of the NYCDOT. There are traffic lights with oversized street name signs at 224 Street and 222 Street.
