Ocean Parkway

Eastbound Views

Upon entering Jones Beach State Park, the Meadowbrook Parkway becomes the Ocean Parkway. There is an exit for the Bay Parkway east.

The Ocean Parkway runs east through Jones Beach State Park. There are exits on the right for two of the parking fields. The parking field exits are found on only one side of the parkway and have no overpasses, so a turnaround is provided so that they can be accessed from the other direction.

There is a traffic circle interchange with the Wantagh Parkway. The obelisk in the center of the circle serves as a water tower for Jones Beach.

The East Bath House is located just past the circle, followed by another parking field and a turnaround.

The parkway leaves Jones Beach. A turnaround makes it possible to go back. This road has most of its exits on only one side and has a series of turnarounds to make them accessible to vehicles travelling in the other direction.

Welcome to Suffolk County! The parkway narrows down to two lanes in each direction.

There are exits for Cedar Beach, Overlook Beach, and Oak Beach.

At the end of the parkway, there is a cloverleaf interchange with the Robert Moses Causeway. The signage here could use improvement.
