New York Avenue runs south through Huntington village.

New York Avenue intersects High Street (CR 92) at a traffic light. There is no signage giving the route number.

In Huntington Station, New York Avenue widens to four lanes.

New York Avenue passes under the railroad tracks and then intersects Depot Road at a traffic light. The left lane becomes a left turn lane for Depot Road and then drops out.

New York Avenue is here a two-lane road again.

Use the left lane here to stay on New York Avenue, which becomes an unnumbered town road south of this point. NY 110 splits off to the right as Walt Whitman Road.

Just south of the split, Walt Whitman Road becomes a divided road. It immediately intersects Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) at a traffic light.
