Hillside Avenue widens to become a four-lane divided road. There is a traffic light with an oversized street name sign at Springfield Boulevard.

There is a traffic light at Braddock Avenue. Turn right here to stay on NY 25. Hillside Avenue continues straight ahead as NY 25B. There is no route signage at this intersection, so motorists wishing to follow NY 25 need to know where they're going.

There is an interchange with the Cross Island Parkway. There is a southbound entrance on the right and a turnaround on the left that can be used to access the northbound entrance on the other side. Immediately after the interchange, Braddock Avenue ends at Jericho Turnpike, which runs along the city line here. Turn left to continue east on NY 25 into Nassau County. Turn right to go west on Jamaica Avenue.
