CT 110 begins at Barnum Avenue (US 1) in Stratford and runs north as a two-lane undivided road. Here, it is called East Main Street.

East Main Street ends at Main Street. Turn right to continue north on CT 110. Turn left to go south on CT 113.

Main Street changes names to become River Road and continues to the north. The Housatonic River is on the right here.

There is an interchange with the Merritt Parkway (CT 15).

North of the parkway, CT 110 has four lanes and is called Main Street.

The road narrows down to two lanes and changes names to become River Road again. CT 110 continues north into Shelton.

Turn left at this traffic light for access to CT 8. The second sign is an error. US 8 is not located in this part of the country.

There is a partial interchange with CT 8. Turn right before the overpass to go north on CT 8.
