There is a long gap west of exit B2. There are small bridges over Kinderhook Creek and Valatie Kill.

Exit B1 is for I-90 and US 9. I-90 takes an exit from itself here. The Berkshire Connector continues straight ahead as an unnumbered road across the Castleton-on-Hudson Bridge to Albany County, where it ends at the New York Thruway (I-87).
