Welcome to Nassau County! Beginning at the Nassau-Suffolk county line, Merrick Road is designated Nassau CR 27. Merrick Road widens back to four lanes and runs east through Massapequa.

Merrick Road intersects Carman Mill Road at a traffic light. NY 27A and CR 27 split at this point. Turn right onto Carman Mill Road to stay on NY 27A. CR 27 continues straight ahead along Merrick Road.

NY 27A ends here at a traffic light at Sunrise Highway (NY 27). Turn right to go east or left to go west.
