The ramp for exit 24 passes under the Alexander Hamilton Bridge, which carries the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95/US 1) across the Harlem River between Manhattan and the Bronx. Then, it splits. Bear left for Amsterdam Avenue and West 179 Street. Bear right for the George Washington Bridge (I-95/US 1/US 9). Just before merging into the approach to the bridge, the ramp splits again. Bear left for the upper level of the bridge. Bear right for the lower level and for access to the Henry Hudson Parkway (NY 9A).
