The ramp for the exit from the Long Mountain Parkway for Averell Avenue (NY 17) leads to a traffic light. Turn left to go south or right to go west. Just north of here, NY 17 turns west onto the Quickway, while Averell Avenue turn into NY 32. There is also access to the New York Thruway (I-87) to the right.
