A long ramp extends two and a half miles from exit 6 to Governor Ritchie Highway (MD 2) south. After a mile and a half, there is an exit for I-97 south. This ramp has the internal designation of I-895B. The designation is unsigned, but the ramp has its own mileposts with the letter B as a prefix.
