The ramp for exit 43 when travelling east splits. Bear left to go north on I-287 or right to go south.

The ramp for exit 43 when travelling west merges with ramps from I-280 and US 46. There are two entrances to I-80 on the left. Then, the ramp splits twice. Bear left at the first splits to go south on I-287 or at the second split to go north. Bear right for US 46, Littleton Road (CR 630), and Smith Road.

There are collector/distributor lanes at exit 45 for Lake Hiawatha and Whippany when travelling east. There is also access to exit 47A for I-280 east from these lanes, although this exit can be accessed from the main roadway as well.

There are collector/distributor lanes at exits 58A-B for Madison Avenue. Use the first exit to go south or the second exit to go north. There are no compass directions given on the signage.

Exits 62A-B share a ramp when travelling east. Take the first right for exit 62A for the Garden State Parkway (NJ 444). Take the second right for exit 62B for Saddle River Road (CR 79).

The ramps from exit 62A on the eastbound side and exit 62 on the westbound side merge together and then split. Bear left for the Garden State Parkway (NJ 444). Bear right for Midland Avenue (CR 67).
