Northbound Views
Phelps Way begins at Broadway (US 9) and runs northeast as a four-lane divided highway. There is a turnoff on the right for Rockefeller State Park Preserve.

Phelps Way ends at a traffic light at Bedford Road. Continue straight ahead to stay on NY 117. NY 448 begins to the right.

East of the parkways, Bedford Road narrows down to two lanes. There is an entrance to Graham Hills Park.

The roadway splits here. Bear left onto Manville Road to stay on NY 117. Bedford Road continues straight ahead as CR 27A. The signage here makes it look like Manville Road is a truck route of NY 117, while it is actually the mainline. One of the signs also erroneously marks NY 117 as US 117.
