Welcome to the Village of Brewster! Here, US 6 is known as Carmel Avenue. There is a small bridge over Tonetta Brook. On the other side, Carmel Avenue ends at a traffic light. Turn right onto North Main Street to stay on US 6.

The roadway splits. Bear right for Railroad Avenue (CR 56), which provides access to US 202/NY 22 and Morningthorpe Avenue (CR 51). There is no signage for CR 56 at this intersection.
